We are so excited to announce Sophia Woodrow as our Development and Communications Officer. Sophia graduated from Stanford University in 2024 and is a Veritas alumnae of the class of 2019. She brings four years of development experience to Veritas, previously serving as the Development Coordinator of Future Coalition, a social activist nonprofit. At Future Coalition, she helped lead multi-million dollar fundraising efforts that resourced grassroots voter engagement in black and brown communities. During her time in VDI, Sophia served as the Veritas student body President, a position which she credits with sparking her passion for public service.
We are also excited to announce Sage Anderson as our Program Officer. Sage is a Veritas alumnae of the class of 2019 and will graduate from Spelman College in 2024. Sage has extensive marketing and organizational management experience from her time as a Regional Marketing Intern at Global Leaders in Data Protection. She also has experience in event planning, having planned and executed corporate marketing events, pop-ups, and excursions. She is excited to join the Veritas family in her new capacity and looks forward to being a resource not only for the organization as a Program Officer but also as a mentor and support figure for the new class of students.
